Culinary delights
The Loire region is not only famous for its castles, culture and history, it also known as “the garden of France”. This is where the French "savoir vivre" is at it's best. Strawberries, asparagus, truffle, saffron, spring vegetables, fruit – and of course wine grapes – are all grown in this fertile area and are eagerly awaited by the bistros and markets of Paris in spring. Furthermore, the Loire Valley produces excellent goat cheese and the nearest cheese maker is less than a kilometer from our house.
We use local produce for our jam and cakes for breakfast and for creating our dinner specialties. You can try them at markets, visiting a winegrower or participating in a wine tour.
Of course we will also reveal the addresses of our favorite restaurants and let you know our favorite producers and where to buy their products.
